David Ericsson (b 1977 in Sweden) has always been fascinated with the process of creating products, from idea to delivery to the end user. After graduating as an engineer from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, he started to work for one of Sweden’s largest industrial design firms, where he gradually shifted his attention towards design. With a technical background, his design approach is often to keep things as simple as possible, but with a unique twist.
Catalyst is a lifestyle accessories brand founded by adventure enthusiasts Josh Wright & June Lai to create innovative products that inspire people to go outside, experience adventure and connect with nature. As avid climbers and surfers, our values are to stay true to our roots, encourage people to explore, have fun outside, connect with others in our global community, and from a design perspective, to create products that are fun, pure and functional. Above all, we want to always be guided by our emotional connection to things that matter to us and our community.
The genesis of Catalyst began with our desire to make great products that we would love to use. We started in the waterproof space out of sheer interest. After extensive product development we launched our first waterproof iPhone case on Kickstarter called the EscapeCapsule. After being successfully crowd funded by an amazing community of backers, we have since been engaged in the relentless pursuit to innovate and improve upon our creation to bring you the best waterproof case on the market. Our new product is the culmination of everything that Catalyst is. We are committed to creating iconic products that enable you to stay connected no matter what your environment.

Office for Product Design is a Hong Kong based design studio formed by Nicol Boyd and Tomas Rosén, who originally began their collaboration while studying at the Royal College of Art in London. With a focus on exploring and developing thoughtful objects and their associated experiences, the office works in close collaboration with a diverse but discerning clients list across a wide range of product typologies, including home ware, consumer electronics, furniture, lighting and interiors. Their work has been widely publicised and recognised with several international design awards, like iF Gold Award, Good Design Award (G-Mark), Red Dot, Designpreis Deutschland, Design Plus, Design for Asia Award, HKDA Award etc.
Nicol Boyd was born in Scotland and studied at Glasgow School of Art and the Royal College of Art. After working for Alessi in Italy, IDEO in the USA and Nokia in the UK, he established himself as a London based freelance designer working with international clients.
Tomas Rosén was born in Stockholm and originally studied philosophy and mechanical engineering before completing his postgraduate design studies at the Royal College of Art. He has previously worked for Volvo and Scania in his native Sweden and also as a senior designer at Nokia in London.

Photography pretty much fell on my lap. When looking back at how I became a photographer it’s almost like it rained on me. I am a self-taught photographer, I used to play around with my fathers old film cameras when I was a kid, and I picked up my first digital camera in Montreal towards the end of 2004. I’ve never really stopped shooting since. I have worked as a brand manager, designer, dancer, brand consultant, bubble-artist, and as a creative director before taking the leap and committing myself as a full time professional photographer in 2012. Frankly, I’ve never been happier since.
I was born and raised in Hong Kong, I’m 27 years old, my birth name is Victor Yu-wai Chiu and my friends call me Vic, I studied design and marketing in Montreal at Concordia University for 4 years, and had some truly inspiring teachers in and out of university across different industries that changed my goals along the way and have helped shape me to become the photographer, dancer, designer, creative consultant and bubble-smith that I am today.
What remained consistent throughout the years was shooting pictures, and trying to make the ones today better than yesterday. To date, I have had the pleasure to work with notable companies, brands, and artists, photographing for Lululemon, Savills, Li & Fung, WeSC, Gem Tang, David Escoe, Prodigy pianist Tsung Tsung, Varia Bortsova of Moscow City Ballet, and so on. Currently, I have also started a personal fine art photography series entitled “Dream-ville”.
Capturing subjects in their element, and keeping an image honest, is at the core of all of my images. Whether it’s a family portrait, a fashion editorial, a wedding shoot, fine art photography, or collaborating with another artist, each image tells its own story. I am completely soaked up in the idea of being a photographer and being able to tell stories through a lens, its rather beautiful. I think there are no ordinary moments.

Always the entertainer, Ceet, can often be found telling an animated tale to a crowd of wide-eyed listeners. The ending is always the same as the audience doubles over in laughter, and a big grinemerges from the face of the world’s leading graffiti and contemporary artist, Ceet Fouad. Ceet’s voracious appetite for life began in Toulouse,France, where he was born 40 years ago to parents of North African origin. He spent his early years painting graffiti on any and all inanimatesurfaces in his home town with his street crew, Truskool and Trumac.
His graffiti style reflects his energetic personality and approach to life. Largely based on an interplayof colors and wild style lettering, the finished product is controlled and mechanically executed, yet sophisticated in the design style and finish. Ceet is not one to sugar coat the truth, and his work often reveals a brutal honesty about experiences from his own life. He has experimented with a variety of mediums; murals, sculptures, graphic design and canvases, through which he exposes his hopes, failures and opinions with his audience.
Since the mid-80s, he has focused on his canvas work through a mixed use of acrylic, oil and spray paint. Striving for perfection, Ceet pays meticulous attention to each canvas detail and uses every inch of space to reveal his expressions on life. The quality of his creations have not gone unnoticed, as invitations from galleries, contemporary art shows and lifestyle brands have confirmed his place on the international stage of contemporary artists to watch and follow. A trip to China in xzy captivated his love for raw energy and in 2003, Ceet left France to share his talents and passion for contemporary art with China. Since 2003, he’s been very active in China with diverse exhibitions, events and artistic performances. I also feel like Hong Kong is somewhere in between… it´s a frontier towards western markets.
…I invested everything I had in the first production batch… luckily it turned out well.
My advice for the Chinese designers is to keep their own style.
I tried to quit my job in the first week.
Instead of starting all this: “How´s next Tuesday”, or: “What about the Wednesday after that”… he said: “How about now!”
I love Hong Kong because the threshold to do something here, is this high.
